Along the way you can detour to Monowi, the only one-person incorporated town in the United States, pedal Highway 12 from a bicycle seat, and soak up small-town hospitality in every community. Highlights include Snake Creek Recreation Area, tasting pastries in the “Kolache Capital of the World” (Verdigre), visiting Ashfall Fossil Beds or Gavins Point Dam (at Lewis and Clark Lake), riding across the historic Meridian Bridge, and exploring the John G. Neihardt State Historic Site in Bancroft.
Note that the depicted routes are subject to change.
We will update the routes in “Ride with GPS” and are also providing the overall elevation changes and distance. We will advise of any last-minute updates to any routes during the Rider’s Meeting the night before the Day 1 ride.
In addition, the Route Marker may adjust on any day of the ride if he determines the road conditions have changed. In such cases, please follow the BRAN ground markings instead of Ride with GPS.
Note about Gravel Routes
There won’t be any official sags on the gravel routes. Be prepared. Gravel riders are always welcome to use sags on the main route.
