What Registered Riders Can Expect for Free on BRAN 42

The 2025 Bicycle Ride Across Nebraska (BRAN) promises cyclists more than just breathtaking views and the joy of the open road. This year’s event, running from June 1–7, 2025, combines Nebraska’s rolling landscapes with an extensive array of complimentary services designed to make the journey safe, comfortable, and memorable.

Whether participants opt for the 3-day, 4-day, or classic 7-day ride, BRAN’s mission of blending adventure with community support shines through every pedal stroke. Here’s a look at the free services riders can expect with their registration.

On-the-Road & Stationary SAG Support

BRAN ensures that no rider is left unsupported. Along the route, roving SAG (Support and Gear) vehicles provide assistance for unexpected challenges like bike breakdowns or fatigue. For those needing extra help, BRAN’s “Meat Wagon” offers transport to the next host town.

Additionally, stationary SAG stops are located every 7–15 miles, stocked with fruit, water, and snacks to keep riders fueled. While these supplies are free, donations are appreciated. Riders can also look forward to local convenience stores, bake sales, and food booths hosted by civic and school organizations on most days of the tour.

Bicycle and Baggage Transport

Getting to the starting point has never been easier. Thanks to BRAN’s partnership with Pork Belly Ventures, bikes will be transported from Fremont to Oshkosh on Saturday, May 31. Riders can choose between boxing their bike or hanging it securely in the provided semi-trailer.

Pork Belly Ventures also handles baggage transport for all registered riders. Simply bring your bags to the trailer each morning, and their crew will take care of loading and unloading in the overnight towns—giving riders one less thing to worry about.

Comfort On & Off the Road

Cyclists can look forward to hot showers after a long day of riding, with towels, shampoo, and soap provided. Charging trailers, complete with lockers, ensure all devices stay powered, while dedicated e-bike charging stations keep electric bikes ready to roll.

Each morning, riders can start their day with free coffee, courtesy of Pork Belly Ventures, ensuring everyone is energized for the day ahead.

Bike Maintenance & Safety

Certified mechanics from The Bike Way crew will be on hand to handle everything from flat tires to brake checks, gear adjustments, and chain replacements. While suspension services aren’t available, most maintenance needs will be covered, ensuring bikes are road-ready. Accessories like tubes, lights, and water bottles will also be available for purchase at the mobile shop.

A Fully Supported Ride

From safety checks to snacks, BRAN’s complimentary services are thoughtfully designed to let riders focus on enjoying their journey across Nebraska’s heartland. Coupled with the event’s community-driven mission to fund scholarships for Nebraska high school students, BRAN 2025 offers an unforgettable ride with purpose.

In addition to these services that come with registration, there are additional optional services offered at a fee and will be listed on the BRAN 43 Website.
